Permanently remove your account and personal data from Vafo

⚠️ Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone

  • Your account will be permanently deleted
  • All your matches and conversations will be lost
  • Your profile and photos will be removed
  • You will not be able to recover this data

How to Delete Your Vafo Account

Open the Vafo app

Make sure you're logged into the account you want to delete

Go to Settings

Tap your profile icon, then select "Settings" from the menu

Select "Account & Privacy"

Find and tap on the Account & Privacy section

Tap "Delete Account"

Scroll down and tap the "Delete Account" option

Confirm deletion

Read the warning message and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account

📋 What Happens to Your Data

Data That Will Be Deleted (within 30 days):

  • Profile information (name, photos, bio, preferences)
  • Chat messages and conversation history
  • Match history and interactions
  • Location data and search preferences
  • Account settings and app preferences

Data We May Retain (for legal/safety purposes):

  • Basic account logs for fraud prevention (anonymized)
  • Reports of misconduct (without personal identifiers)
  • Data required by law (as legally mandated)

Complete deletion timeline: Your personal data will be fully deleted within 30 days of account deletion confirmation.

This will redirect you to the Vafo app to complete the deletion process

Not Ready to Delete Everything?

If you only want to delete specific data (like certain photos or chat conversations), you can request partial data deletion instead.
